"Alison was the only officiant we talked to that understood our wedding vision, which was both multicultural and non traditional. She immediately made us feel at ease when we met her, and helped us work through our unique ceremony. She helped us brainstorm ideas for our ceremony, molding one of her ceremonies to fit our very specific demands. She knew what would work and what wouldn't, helping us place our readings and rituals in perfect order. She even rehearsed with us in the rain! We are extremely grateful to Alison--because of her our wedding went off without a hitch!"

"Alison really helped add an element of calmness to our otherwise hectic wedding day. She worked closely with us to ensure that our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and it was done so meaningfully. Alison did an excellent job in respecting our beliefs and had a genuine interest in learning about us as a couple and as individuals. She not only served as our wedding official at the chapel, but took the time to interact with our friends and family at our traditional Navajo wedding several days before the wedding ceremony at the chapel. The ceremony that Alison helped us create was one of personal meaning--it was so intimate, something we will always remember as heartfelt and unique to us as a couple."

Alison was a calming and reassuring influence amidst the whirlwind of preparations that led up to our wedding last January. She was willing to work with us to plan the ceremony even though we were planning our Albuquerque wedding from far away in South Korea. Most other officiants might have been a little uneasy about working with a couple on the other side of the globe, but she made herself available to us over the phone and via email while we were out of the country. When we arrived in Albuquerque before the wedding, Alison helped us realize our vision of the ideal wedding ceremony that accentuated the heritage of both of our families. Her contributions to the language of our wedding ceremony highlighted our values of loving companionship and our sense of adventure. She even had a ceramic fire bowl that she let us borrow for the Indian part of our ceremony. Looking back on our wedding, we couldn't have done it without Alison.

Just wanted to send you a formal acknowledgment of the huge role you played in our wedding, unobstrusively shepherding us through all the details that arise at the exact time in our lives when we are almost too emotionally wrought up to think with much precision. Thank you for all the care you took to make it come off so well!
